Fun in a Basket is owned and operated by Laurie Branom who has a passion for making gift baskets. Laurie believes that years in the crafting industry led her down the path to the gift baskets business. Laurie started crafting for fun about fifteen years ago which led to selling everything from Christmas ornaments to bird houses at craft shows.

In keeping with her ever present desire to create something new and different, she found the art of gift baskets. Laurie spent hours learning everything about the basket business, practicing arrangements and trying new ideas and styles. During the 2006 Christmas season she started selling gift baskets. Long after the holiday season ended the orders continued. She found that people were looking for unique gifts for all occasions with a touch of fun and thought behind them.

In 2007, Fun in a Basket started as a home-based business. Business started picking up and the operation quickly expanded . It was time to expand the business to an on-line store front (web site).
